About
Us "Four
Winds Culturalliving"
Four Winds
Culturalliving was established in 1996 in Litchfield Connecticut
bringing a touch of Chinese Culture to New England. Owners Marga and
Robert Snoeij were collecting Chinese Antiques for many years and
decided to open a gallery in 1996. After being successful for so
many years, traveling to China and handpicking beautiful pieces for
your home, we now also offer over 5000 Antique items through our
website
www.culturalliving.com Please be confident to order from these
catalog pages, all items are in wonderful condition and a feast for
the eye, we guarantee it.

Whether your
style is traditional, modern or a fusion of both, Four Winds
"Chinese Antiques"’ latest antique collection of Chinese & Oriental
Furniture offers something for everyone.
Four Winds "Chinese Antiques"’ designers have taken the graceful simplicity of the
classic Chinese designs and combined them with a modern twist.
Four Wind's latest Antique Chinese Furniture collection is also
incredibly versatile and most items work well in all areas of the
home. Some of the more antique pieces are even
multi-functional. Take the cubed coffee table which cleverly divides
into four so when you are in need of extra space you can scatter
each section and use as side tables, plant stands, tea tables or
even as meditation platforms! Four Wind's new collection of Chinese
& Oriental Furniture includes cabinets, coffee tables, chests,
sideboards, drawers, stools, side tables, screens and console tables
finished in an array of colors.
Four Winds
"Chinese Antiques" also boasts a fabulous Classical Furniture range
which consists of Chinese & Oriental Antiques. Highlight’s from Four
Winds "Chinese Antiques' latest shipment include a range of elegant
altar tables, an assortment of beautifully carved screens and chests
and a wonderful selection of sideboards. “We are especially
delighted with our finds this time around,” says Marga Snoeij, Owner
of Four Winds "Chinese Antiques". “Not only are there some
different and unusual pieces, there is also a real history to the
furniture. Our philosophy is always to refinish rather than restore
the Chinese furniture we find - that way the existing patina is
enhanced and the history of each piece can shine through, giving a
unique insight into the changes in Chinese society over the last
century. Four Wind's Chinese & Oriental furniture collection holds
an extraordinary cultural value as well as making warm and lively
additions to a living space."
In addition to the extensive Chinese
Antique & Classical Furniture Collections Four Winds also offers an
increasingly popular accessories range. Latest additions to their
already irresistible collection of home accessories include Chinese
silk notebooks, Oriental ginger jars and bowls, Chinese silk photo
albums and the more unusual Chinese antique accessories including
wedding baskets, rice scoops and fishing pots. “You don’t have to
spend a fortune to change a room. A visual impact can be created
with unusual and eye-catching accessories” says Marga. “Take our new
range of stylish Oriental ginger jars for example. Place one of
these on a sideboard and you have created a focal point. All it
needs is one dramatic piece and the setting is transformed”. Exclusive
to Four Winds, the accessories collection also offers great gift
ideas for all manner of occasions.ds
